This spring/summer has been hard hit with the trend of black and white ensembles. This look is classic and the simplicity of the colors, or lack thereof, keeps things fresh and clean (Outkast anyone?). Cut and pattern is key to prevent this from dipping into boring or “safe” zone.

The plus side to joining the monotone side? The pairing of black and white gives off a distinct “tuxedo effect” which automatically makes things look put-together and slick. THe possibility of clashing colors is also eliminated entirely.
